Banned circle

Has anyone else found that the circles you were given as a default included a banned circle with some people already in it? I have no idea why three people in my contacts list were "pre-banned." One of them was someone I was looking for. Not someone I would want to ban, and I don't know who the other two were.

I did and it had one person pre-banned but once I figured out who the person was, I knew it was because I'd banned that person on Google Buzz or something similar.

Huh. I don't remember ever banning any of them, but I can't swear to it...

Huh. I have some people banned but wasn't offered that circle.

I signed up a while ago, and didn't have a banned circle show up in my circles.

And now I can see it, because I made a fourth circle, and that caused me to need to scroll and there it was.

I admit, it's handy.

I discovered three fellow tagwranglers had been autoblocked when I activated my G+. I suspect it has something to do with a filter I'd set up in Gmail to label all posts from them with multiple OTW-related tags in my Gmail.

At first I'd thought that they were people whose email I'd set up a filter to killfile, because I have done that with a couple sexist asshats from LJ and IJ days. But no!

As soon as I figured out who they were (which was tricky in that I didn't recognize two of the names, I know them by pseuds!), I unblocked them.

I had several blocked but I'm sure they were all from Buzz, and my attempts to disable it.

I had several too. I don't remember if I'd blocked any of them before I killed buzz with prejudice, and I didn't know who some of them were. (I left them in the circle because why not.)
